Q: What will you never forget about Catherine?
A: I will always remember Cathy’s smile, optimism, and faith, as well as her dedication to her family and her students. I will also remember her zest for life and seizing the opportunity to experience the beauty of our country and build beautiful memories with her family. I still remember seeing her on the tram car and as a summer cop. I will always remember her as one of the fabulous trio my family referred to as “The Murry Girls.”

Q: What will you miss most about Catherine?
A: Cathy's optimism, positive personality.
I loved her stories of being a tram car driver, a summer police officer, her stories of Overbrook Philadelphia, her life at the shore, her love of working with children in schools, her RV trips around the country with her family, her trips to Maine, her daily funny Facebook posts.
She was like another sister to my mom, her cousin Jean.
We have great memories of Cathy.
I will miss her alot.

Words cannot truly express the profound sadness I felt today learning of Cathy’s passing!
Cathy and I, along with her sisters, Anne and Jody and my brother, Stuart, grew up next door to each other on Brentwood Road in Overbrook Park! (Philadelphia, PA)!
We lived in row homes and we shared the same outside steps! My address was 7633 and Cathy and her family lived at 7635!
We shared so many life experiences as neighbors and friends! My 100 year-old mom recalled today how she named the Murry girls as her little kittens when we all first met!
Cathy and her sisters were incredibly devoted to their parents and to each other! The bond they shared with one, another, was always extremely strong and nothing would ever change that! And, oh how they took care of their mother when her life was ending! Devoted daughters who did everything for their mom to make it easier for her!
There are so many other things we shared- some happy and some sad but those things we did share will forever have a very special place in my heart!
May Cathy’s memory be a blessing for her family and always bring them comfort when thinking of her! Goodbye to my dear friend and childhood neighbor!
