To Leah's Family
I live on Wynnedmere Court across the street from Leah. If I remembered each Thursday, I would collect her trash cans and bring them up to the garage. It's what neighbors do. I would often see her on her deck, directly across from my house on beautiful spring and summer afternoons. I brought my youngest granddaughter over to meet Leah one of those days while she sat on her deck. Leah was a busy woman! I would see her get on the senior transportation bus to venture out to all the things that kept her active. She amazed me each and every time I saw her get on that bus. I want to be her when I'm her age!! Leah would occasionally make me one her most delicious loaves of bread. I wanted to sit right down and eat the entire loaf! I was THAT good! She was computer savvy and sent me beautiful holidays cards she made on her computer. Good for her! We were good neighbors. I will miss this beautiful woman. She inspired me to stay busy and active.
